چکیده
Introduction: Hyperpigmentation disorders (HPD) are a frequent reason for dermatology consultations as they can impair quality of life. The most HPD melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and solar lentigos with increased melanin content on top other pathophysiologic features. development an efficient safe ingredient to manage facial skin tone heterogeneities is great importance. Objectives: To evaluate the anti-pigmentation efficacy 2-MNG in preventing UV-induced pigmentation Chinese skin. Methods: Ten studies were conducted women (20-50y). For each study, 30 volunteers phototype III recruited. Several products applied (4mg/cm2) mini zones back, randomized blinded protocol, five days week seven weeks. During second week, exposed 0.5MED UV-daylight during 4 consecutive days. Assessments performed using Chromameter erythema scales. All under exactly same conditions validated vitamin C 7% standard pivot. A Bayesian meta-analysis established large comparison performance versus 19 recognized actives (i.e. Kojic acid, Phenylethyl Resorcinol, Baicalin, Ellagic Resveratrol, Ascorbyl glucoside, 4-butyl-resorcinol, Niacinamide). Results: 0.5% showed significant vehicle. that provides statistically superior compared all selected standards. Conclusions: This new highly marketed active ingredients. It promising approach allowing develop dermocosmetic targeting concerns.

Meta-analysis for 2 x 2 tables: a Bayesian approach.
This paper develops and implements a fully Bayesian approach to meta-analysis, in which uncertainty about effects in distinct but comparable studies is represented by an exchangeable prior distribution. Specifically, hierarchical normal models are used, along with a parametrization that allows a unified approach to deal easily with both clinical trial and case-control study data. Monte Carlo me...
متن کاملLiraglutide Versus SGLT-2 Inhibitors in People with Type 2 Diabetes: A Network Meta-Analysis
INTRODUCTION For people with type 2 diabetes (T2DM) inadequately controlled with oral antidiabetic drugs (OADs), evidence from both randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and real-world studies has demonstrated that treatment intensification with liraglutide offers effective glycemic control, weight reduction, and a lower risk of hypoglycemia compared to treatment intensification with insulin or a...
متن کاملN-(2-Chloroacetyl)glycine
The title compound, C4H6ClNO3, crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules (A and B) in the asymmetric unit. In each mol-ecule, there are N-H⋯O and N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. Both mol-ecules are relatively planar, with the mean plane of the acetamide [N-C(=O)C] group being inclined to the mean plane of the acetate group [C-C(=O)O] by 9.23 (13)° in mol-ecule A and 6.23 (12)° in mol-ecule B. In the ...
متن کاملBayesian integration of networks without gold standards
MOTIVATION Biological experiments give insight into networks of processes inside a cell, but are subject to error and uncertainty. However, due to the overlap between the large number of experiments reported in public databases it is possible to assess the chances of individual observations being correct. In order to do so, existing methods rely on high-quality 'gold standard' reference network...
